Married Emily Hulda Rigney on October 19, 1847 in Madison County AL - Blessed with six children
Died on March 6, 1861 in (place unknown)
 
Facts:  He was only three years when his father died.  By 1850 he had married and was living in Jackson County AL.  After he died his wife moved to Arkansas to be with her family, but her son Fleming wanted to be a minister so she moved on to Cuthand (Red River) Texas.  She had learned of the McKinzie College a Methodist School.  
 
There has not been found a picture of this couple.  And neither of the two oldest sons, John Solomon Geron or William Henry Geron.  But below is a picture of four of the children.

Facts:  He came to Clarksville with his mother, his dad had died probably when he was very small.  He lived with his sister and learned to be a carpenter from his brother-in-law.  He ran away from home at 12 and surported himself.  He built his wife a fine two story house just as you come into Paris Texas.
