Born October 7, 1838 in St. Louis Mo.
Married Martha Ann Crafton on August 13, 1863 in St. Louis Mo.  Blessed with 6 children.
Died on May 6, 1910 is buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetary.
 
Facts: His father Peter George Herzig was born in Switzerland and  came to America at the age of 17.  The family ran a shoe store in St. Louis, but lived in Baldwin.  After this Peter George was married he moved to Arkansas to settle on land Martha had heired with her twin brother Tilman Crafton.

Married Ida Mae Ross on Dec 24, 1893.  Blessed with 12 children only 7 lived to be grown.
Died on Oct 4, 1947 in Detroit (Red River) Texas.
 
Facts:  Family moved to Texas about 1914 by train.  He was a Pentecostal Preacher in Detroit.  He left a full diary describing his life and preaching career in detail.
