| Facts: His father Peter George Herzig was born in Switzerland and came to America at the age of 17. The family ran a shoe store in St. Louis, but lived in Baldwin. After this Peter George was married he moved to Arkansas to settle on land Martha had heired with her twin brother Tilman Crafton. |
